Because often, the gym isn't the only place we're going that day. People probably wonder why I wear makeup to the gym, but I go after work. I still have my makeup on from the day.

Gosh, me too. I've been in the dark about it since I started wearing it back in high school. Glad I am finally educated on the subject!

Were you working out in the morning or the afternoon? Depending on whether she'd already been out for the day or was going somewhere immediately after she could well have makeup on for THAT reason. Makeup can be pretty easily "touched up" which is much faster than starting from scratch. So don't assume she put it on JUST to go to the gym.

As a teen of the 80's I was warned to not overpluck by the older generation. (Thanks guys!) Now that I am older, they have thinned out a little so I usually trim up, pluck the unruly hairs outside where an eyebrow should be, lol and then touch up with a little brown eye shadow. Voila!
