Bug spray so you don't get bitten in the first place? An ounce of prevention, etc. Mosquitoes can transmit some unsavory things, besides itchy bites being annoying.
I haven't had a mosquito bite in years. I can be walking with friends in the evening and they come back with welts all over them and I don't have a one. I wonder if it has something to do with our blood type or some pheromone we have or don't have.

I use bug spray when I'm outside, but I still get bit up. Mosquitos love me.

I'm kind of the opposite; usually they'll only bite me if I'm their only option. If other people are around, usually the mosquitoes will go for them instead. I've been in several situations where other people will be like, "Man, these mosquitoes are killing me!" and I'm like, "What mosquitoes?" (I don't tend to react to bites, either. Sometimes I don't even feel it-- I just look down and there's a mosquito latched onto my arm or something. I only can recall one time I had a bite that itched-- itched for several minutes after I was bitten and then I got over it-- and that was in Luang Prabang. So apparently it's only Lao mosquitoes I have a problem with... {Thai mosquitoes seemed to be fine and in fact they were often the ones whose bites I didn't feel; I often feel the American mosquitoes. Mosquito nationality might be an interesting research topic for an entomologist, lol}. I spent a lot of years reading about itchy mosquito bites and couldn't figure out why I couldn't relate-- do I just not get bitten often enough, do I just not notice the itching and red spots/scabs-- and then finally figured out that I just must not really react to them).
