Short hair on women, in blonde, brown, or red?

I think OP is looking for a blanket answer (like blond hair looks best no matter what!) but there are too many variables to factor in. I’m also of the opinion that short hair tends to look unattractive on most women.

I voted "brown" but it was a tough choice between that and "blonde". A natural redhead with bobbed hair would be a waste in my oh-so-humble opinion. Now, jet black hair cut short looks good on East Asian and women of African descent but not on Caucasians (boy, I better stop now...)

Short, very dark hair on Asian women often looks good on them, yeah. That makes me closer to voting for brown or wishing I'd included a separate black category.

Also, I had the same thought about short red hair being a "waste." That it has only one vote tells me the people think that or just don't like red. The shades of red I like I want to see in long hair.

Edit: if you think the poll is dumb, fine, it certainly isn't my best work, but I like that it vaguely supports my suspicion that hair color preferences for short hair differ from those about long hair. Also, if you're suspicious of the entire topic, no, I am not a lol hair color supremacist and have no personal favorite to push on women.

Regarding red hair: at 50-something with natural red hair (yes, shockingly, still red at this age), I just can’t do long hair. I keep mine shoulder-length. Long may suit my hair color, but it definitely does not suit my age or height.
