Gucci, LV are popular, but Hermès is up there as well. It just depends on what you like. Some want people to know they spent $400-1000 on a belt, so will have the big "H", Gucci symbol or LV buckles. But they make very nice understated belts as well.

Designer belts for men are a big waste of money.

What's to design?

A strip of leather wide enough to fit the belt loops of whatever pants it's being worn with, long enough to fit around the wearer's waist, buckle that's functional and unobtrusive.

Ick. IMO designer belts are a waste of money...AND most of them are super tacky looking....specially on a professional man that's over 30. My fiance wears high quality belts that don't say "Hi ppl....I'm wearing a designer belt" as soon he walks in!

ITA. And very often people don't limit themselves to one logo, so if there is one on the belt, they will also wear shoes, scarf/tie, bag, sunglasses etc covered in logos. Not an expensive look, IMO.

I purchased a few track belts and never looked back. Managed to get a few with designer buckles. You would never know they were fake because I match them with expensive clothing.

Some people cannot pull it off. Women with fake designer handbags are super tacky. Dead give away.

Who cares? People who wear conspicuous designer logos look like Kardashian wannabes. "Look, look at me, I have money!" A good quality leather belt in an appropriate color with an unobtrusive buckle is ALWAYS in style, and you won't have to ask whose brand is "in fashion" this year, or look like you are trying too hard to impress others.

Actually what it says is "I have a credit card!"

People with serious money are not trying to figure out whose logo they should wear on their belt.

In fact most of the men with real money I know, either buy everything from L L Bean or equivalent, or they go to the "men's clothing store" (NOT in the mall) where they've been buying their clothes for 40 years. Designer fashion is not worn by old money.

Designer belts shouldn't be worn by men with old money....new money....or any money IMO....specially on professional men. It's super tacky & they need to look professional & manly....not full of bling.
