Despite loving clothing and fashion, I've never been much of a buyer. A few new or new-to-me pieces of clothing or pairs of shoes are added each year, but that's about it.

Since the pandemic hit full-force back in mid-March with the loss of my career several months after that and later, the beginning of a new line of work, my usual habit of scouring various media outlets in search of ways that I can make things from my current wardrobe seem fresh(er) has gone into overdrive. I *did* treat myself to one new dress that was on a steep discount with part of my birthday money (thanks, Mom!), but that's all that I've purchased this year and will for the foreseeable future.

As a result, I've found myself wearing clothes that haven't been in regular rotation for years. It's been fun revisiting some past favorites and wearing them in different ways than I might have in the past.

Has anyone else been having a good time "shopping" in the back of their closet and dresser?

Nope. I haven't worn 90% of the stuff in my closet. I WFH, so I've been wearing lots of leggings and tee shirts. On the few occasions that I do go out to the grocery store or outdoor dinner, I have a couple pair of jeans and a couple tees that are sufficient rotation. No need to wear my usual business casual stuff.

I have quite a lot fo clothing that I literally haven't worn in years, but I have a whole set of newer clothing I currently wear since then. Either because I don't have to wear that type of attire anymore or it's clothing that needs to be dry cleaned (back when I got dry clean clothing). I've never liked having to repeatedly "pay" to wear my own clothing & that's essentially what getting clothes dry cleaned is. Grrr.

I've gotten rid of quite a bit too & other clothing is back at my parents' house in one of my closets.

I actually need a few more pairs of pants and I plan on shopping online with a gift certificate I got from my mom to Chico's off the rack (early Christmas gift) I did recently buy 4 new tops all short sleeve (can't stand long sleeve) from Chico's. I had to return 2 pairs of pants because they were too big and too long.
