I feel strange saying this, but I'm jealous of the girls at the gym who have workout pants with cell phone pockets. Of course the ones I've seen are all leggings, not the sort of thing I'd wear.
My cell phone sits in my front pocket and I'd prefer it out of the way when I work out. I feel like I'm going to hit it with weights when I do curls. I don't see a lot of men's workout pants with side cell phone pockets. I'm looking for something like the product shown at https://www.alibaba.com/product-deta...317186218.html but from a reputable vendor.
Has anyone seen what I'm describing? I do have a pair of shorts with a cell phone pocket but they're the double layer type of shorts and the cell phone pocket is in the bottom layer. I'm looking for something with the pocket on the outside of the pants.
It is. I may get pulled into something work related. I have a family too. My wife was also in a car accident recently, and had to reach me. I have a teenager daughter too.
Cargo shorts? How important is it to you, to look fashionable and hip while grunting and sweating? or do you think the gym's for exercising?
Good idea, thanks. I go to the gym to burn calories and build muscle. I wear earbuds and I don't interact with or notice anyone around me much. I wouldn't know fashionable or hip if they kicked me in the face.

I have some workout shorts with zippered pockets on each side, behind the regular pocket. Problem is, the pocket is made of same stretchy material as the shorts, so it's very hard to get the phone in and out. Why not use regular pocket material - cotton or at least something that's not stretchy? The zipper keeps the phone from falling out so there's no need for the elastic pockets.

Cargo shorts are a good option but they're not as available as they once were. I had a couple of pair that I really liked but were getting a bit frayed around the edges and my wife threw them away.
Just what I was thinking ..surely at the gym its ME time and not for phone calls from friends...surely a phone can be left in a bag for an hour or so...
