I think we've still got a few of those in the attic. They were a real lifesaver for us in the Seventies when DH graduated and got his first professional job. Easy to wash and care for.

I could buy the material for ten dollars and sew him one in a couple of days. We only had to worry about how to scrounge up enough money for the shoes. Those shoes, with their high heels by themselves, were a sight to behold!

I remember one year our son wore an outfit to a Halloween party!

I could see sport coats making a come back. I'm seeing more and more 'casual' sport coats with dark jeans, etc. Its more and more common in office settings as well. Full casual suits? Probably not...
