There seems to be trend now it seems of young people wearing pajama pants out in public.

I was at fast food place today and there was these two girls one wearing pink pajama pants and other girl red checkered pajama pants and flip flops.

Anyone notice new trend now it seems of young people wearing pajama pants out in public? Well obviously some cities seem to me more trend than other cities.

You’re just now noticing? This has been going on for YEARS. Maybe even decades?

I'd actually say .... this trend seems to be dying out, thankfully, in favor of "leggings"(?)/yoga pants. Pajama pants were extremely popular on girls when I was in HS and college. Decades ago would be accurate..

That was happening when my daughter was in high school.
She graduated in 2002, so I’m surprised you’re just noticing that now

Yeah, I graduated from college in 1999, and we were certainly wearing pajama pants in public back then.

It must be Pittsburg thing or smaller towns and communities in Pennsylvania? May be fleetiebelle or Pitt Chick can elaborate on it.

I didn't go to college in small town PA. If you go to almost any college campus or big box store late at night anywhere in the country, you're going to see people in pajama pants, workout clothes, etc. just doing their thing.
