Ever wish your eyes were blue or green? Well, now you don’t have to turn to contact lenses or risky artificial iris implants to make your dream come true. You can simply have your own eyes permanently tattooed.

The keratomigmentation procedure consists of crafting a fine intracorneal tunnel in the patient’s eyes with the help of a laser, and then inserting a special pigment to alter the color of the iris according to their wishes.

The procedure is completely painless and reversible.

This may not be the very stupidest thing people've done in pursuit of fashion, but it's way up there.

You've only got two of these things, you know. Sensible people don't let anyone carve on their eyeballs in any way whatsoever unless it's an eye surgeon and he's doing it to correct a disease or injury.

You know, if you lose one eye, all activities that require depth perception go away. No more ball games. No riding motorcycles. And so on.

This seems like the answer to a question that shouldn't be asked. I've never once thought that I should change my eye color, as it's something you are born with and is innate to you.

Look up Pixie Foxx and eye color change (since she has had a myriad of extreme things done you will need to specify). She had this surgery and it is one of her biggest regrets. She is mostly blind now and cannot reverse the surgery because of damage caused by the surgery. She also has damage from a coma caused from some unrelated surgery. She had these maybe 5 or 6 years ago, but there are risks to every procedure, medical or cosmetic.

She was a very naturally beautiful girl from Sweden that decided to become a human barbie type character.

It is horrible, not approved, cornea tattooing. The laser used is approved but not for this type of surgery. There are risks as there are with any corneal surgery. Last time I read about it, it was 12,000 dollars for the procedure. Nuts.

Well, which is it? Permanent or reversible?

People with body dysmorphia are better off getting to the root of their mental problem. And that goes for everyone with a mental problem, too.

I have green eyes so I guess I'm lucky on that end but if I ever wanted to change it, I'd buy colored contacts

Right. Colored contacts are an inexpensive way to change things up with minimal risk to one's eyes.
Just the thought makes me cringe. That's a ridiculous thing for anyone to do.
