Haircut doesn't count as permanent change. Tattoo can be removed.
Piercing is closer to permanent change, especially stretching/plugging and scarifications.

The times I've heard of toenail removal being done, it's because of damage to the toenail or it's causing problems with the toe. Now, maybe they mean they had it done for aesthetic reasons, but it's not usually something you do "just because" or for funsies.

Toes are rarely "cute" to begin with...

And, there are such things as fake toenails, or, I have a friend who, when she loses a toenail to dance, will just paint her toe to match.

If bone, it can't have been "quick". Why is it "strange"?

Had all my toenails removed. Not quick, but "rather strange", lol.

Permanent make-up was another good one.
Why?

I would do it again as I really liked the result and it's worth the $$

I've had a big toenail removed at least once, due to infection and discomfort. It was ugly and it grew back ugly, but I will not remove it unless necessary. That is a very unpleasant procedure, and my toes are not for looking at or playing with.

Radical haircut/color.

I cut my long (below shoulder) hair to a jawline length bob, shaved the back of the neck which you really cannot see - much cooler in TX summer tho, and went blonde. Just needed a refresh, and this was and is great.

Growing out the blond, going shades of silver in February. Keeping the easy peasy haircut...

Default Not about hair, please

Not a haircut/hairstyle change thread. Hair removal or restoration is iffy re quick change and restoration on a male scalp isn't that strange. Plus, there is a hair sub-forum.
