Young women's clothing is cut to show off a young woman's body more... men's (all ages) clothing is cut to be more roomy and comfortable.
Not fair, but that's fashion for you. When you hit your thirties... all of a sudden you find yourself in fashion limbo. You don't want to dress like a tryin' to be hip 20-something tryin' to catch yourself a man club and bar-hoppin' type anymore, but the women's style clothing seems to frumpy and shapeless. It's tricky. It helps when you have your own sense of style. To heck with being mainstream!

I totally agree. I never follow fashion (besides a lot of it is way too expensive for me anyway). I have my own style. Not too tight, not too "slutty" looking, and not too frumpy or baggy either. Sensible, simple, and I can wear it anywhere. That's more my style.
