I still shop in the little little girls section for non work clothes. Clothes there are generally cuter than the lady's section... but not as "grr arrgh teenage" as the junior's section. Oh, and I shop the little boy's area for pants.
Heck, boy's pants are generally about half the cost and just as comfy.
Hah. 2 1/2 years later, this still holds true. The only difference is that I'm buying more jeans from the junior's department because they're costing the same as the boys section. Go figure.

I do the same too...I buy shirts from the juniors section. I like the fit more than a lot of 'women's shirts.
As stated previously by myself and others, I'm small so I shop there but don't as much the last couple years - jr. size styles (and girl's as well ) - have gotten so trashy and cheap looking.

I agree---- you really have to pick through a lot of skeery stuff. I love it though, I still find things I can wear.
When they stop making clothes in the petites and misses depts. so darn ugly. I am 21, and I WANT more adult clothing, but everytime I go to missus, the clothing looks so horrible. Very matronly. I keep finding mom jeans with the little "stretchy top". The tops look very unshapely. Everything there seems to be made for bigger women. I'm fat, but I'm not THAT fat!
I feel the same way. I will shop in the Juniors section until I am ready to stop. Everything that doesn't appeal to me will get passed over. All of the clothes are not created equal. The only stores I get excited about shopping in women's sections are 'better' stores like Bloomingdales or Saks. A bit more style, less frump. More money too though.
my choices (according to the stores) are to look like a tramp or a ****. take my pick LOL
finding decent things is difficult. i buy a lot online.
I'd like to know how you buy so much online - sizes are all over the board.
