Personally, I like the 2-wallet system. I carry a small zippered pouch in my front pocket which contains my DL, credit card, large cash bills, and any other important card I might need for that day. It has a clip so that I could attach it to keys (which I never do). But I could also carry it on a string around my neck (under shirt for security) or on a small loop attached to my belt and tuck inside the waist of my pants for security if needed.
In my back pocket I carry a standard bi-fold wallet. Only it's not as packed with stuff that most men carry. Just enough cash to get me through the day (or week). A business card or two. Sometimes a special retail saver [repeat use buy 10 get 1 free] type card. But nothing so valuable that I would get too upset if it was stolen from me.
I've seen women carrying large overstuffed billfolds. That drives me crazy. I can't imagine carrying so many valuables all the time in such a vulnerable, easy-to-steal form.
No wallet. I carry my drivers license and a credit card, library card and insurance card wrapped in cash and secured by a money clip. Then it goes in a front pocket.
I carry a wallet in the front pocket, and a credit card case in the other front pocket. I sometimes carry a money clip, and also usually keep cash in my wallet, using the money clip for smaller denominations for times when I don't want to pull out a wallet. With suits and blazers, I tend to carry my wallet in a jacket pocket, however.
