I don't like stretch jeans, either. I do have one pair of Gap bootcut stretch that aren't very stretchy (purchased in 2003), and they're fine, but all of the jeans I've bought since then are too stretchy. You try them on, they look and feel great in the fitting room, but when you get them home and wear them for an hour, they're bagging and sagging all over the place. I give up. I'm sick of wasting money on jeans.
I've been digging around in my closets and I'm just going to wear my old jeans. I'm over 50 and don't care if they're in style or not. I've found that if you turn them inside out when you wash them, it keeps them from fading. They'll last years that way.
I love stretch jeans too. I like my jeans to be fitted and hug my hips/butt vs. being baggy. Guess has really good stretchy jeans that are trendy and cute.
Anyone know who makes or if its possible to find good old blue jeans that don't have spandex and aren't super lowcut? I'm a middle-aged, size 10 woman, who remembers when jeans felt great, not because they were super comfy, but because they actually held you in and you couldn't see pantylines, cellulite, saddle bags through them! Now, I swear if I could push and squeeze my pear shaped size 10 body into a size 4 pair of stretch/spandex jeans, an hour later they'd be baggy on me! I hate stretch jeans and thats ALL I can find. I also have a hard time finding higher waisted jeans. Any suggestions on where to look? Thanks.
I like stretch jeans as I am in between 2 sizes. The larger size is too big but I can use the smaller size when it is stretch pants material.
