Actually, when the doctor asked me when was the last time I had a full eye exam, him and his Staff were shocked.......June of 1968 when I went into the Navy! After that, never had problems with my eyes until 7 years ago. I now have a pair of Progressive lens glasses that also have Transition for sunlight and anti-glare. I was told that the Progressive type are more modern than the old bifocal type that have lines going thru the lens. Only thing is, I have to turn my head side-to-side to read things on the computer, when I put on the Progressive glasses. When I slip on my old reading glasses, I can read everything on the computer screen without turning my head side-to-side.
Anyone have these Progressive type glasses? Do you like them? I'm going to talk to my doctor tomorrow about these Progressive glasses and turning my head all the time to read things. My wife has bifocals and doesn't have to do this.
Perhaps my eyes just have to get use to these glasses or MAYBE I should have gotten bifocals??!!
I don't know, Loveboating. I have worn progressive lenses for several years now and I like them quite well. I have never noticed the side to side thing you are mentioning. Some times the "levels" of correction are not correctly placed. May need to be re-done. Yes, I think you should talk to your eye doctor about it.

I wear a pair of Silhouette rimless, classic shape, brown, flex frame glasses. From a distance, you almost don't see them. No use in posting a picture of invisible glasses.

Nice glasses everyone!

Here are the ones I currently wear, but I have them in brown (more like bronze)... and they look much prettier in person, since you can really see the crystals on the side.

Check my profile pic for my glasses. They're from the children's section at Lens Crafters.
