Looking for nice fashions. Trends and classic stuff, but really don't want to spend an arm and a leg. I am sick of places like Ross and Marshall's. I frequently strike out at those places. And I gasp in shock at the prices in Dillards and Macy's. Case in point. My son bought a urban brand shirt at Ross for $9.99. Saw quite literally the same shirt in Dillards, for 2.5x the cost.

I don't get it. The clothes at Old Navy and Gap have morphed into tissue weight. Everything seems and feels so cheap. I tried on the jeans at Old Navy and they are unflattering for me. I prefer to shop in person. I like to try on. I haven't crossed over into the "older" fashion places, don't really like Coldwater, J.C. Penney, Kohl's. The junior stuff is too juniory, and the misses clothes too matronly. I am a fashionable mom of a teenager.

Help please. I just want jeans that are cute that don't cost $245.00, and a few pair of cute shoes that aren't $80.00 apiece. Also, I am hard to fit, size 2/4 tall.

Default Shopping in Bristol...

Hey! ive recently moved to Bristol myself, its an awesome city, there is so much to do here its rediculous.

If your looking for good clothes shops, theres a really chiller place up on gloucester road in bishopston, Avalaan Clothing, it has a really nice atmosphere in there, and everyones super friendly.

they do some really nice brands in there, Bantum, PHCY, Nixon, Vans, Gentle Fawn and loads of others...

deffinately check it out if you have the time.

Gloucester road is one of the trendiest places in town, there is loads of fashion, music and art shops all the way up the street.

they have a website aswell, selling Avalaan brand clothes....
