For an office environment I don't think sandals are a viable option. I agree that slip-on loafers are the best option, either a penny loafer, a tassel one or a smooth vamp would work. If not too bulky, a suede oxford might work also.
I like pitt_transplant's post with the Clarks shoes. My wife got me into a pair of Clarks Unstructured, very pricey but worth every penny. I will jump at every chance to get Clarks shoes. Casual but yet professional looking.
ladies, what kind of shoes should a man buy if he wears a polo to work almost every day? i'm trying to look the part. it's casual so i'll wear like khakis plus a nautica polo...but what shoes look good with that?? any help would be much appreciated.
You should wear Penny Loafer(Weejuns) or Tassled Loafer. Another good look is Topsiders Tommy Bahama makes some sharp ones.
It sucks that I get to wear them only during the weekend. I pretty much gave up on casuals completely during the work week, coz I kind of felt that in the corporate world, respect comes and increases with the neatness of the formal wardrobe
For me, the best Polos come from Express and Abercrombie+Fitch. I did some Aeropostale and didn't quite like the way they fit.
I usually wear double Polos coz the light coloured ones end up somewhat transparent as I'm a brownie. My pals call this the douchebag norm
I generally go with shorts, for I don't prefer pants with Polos.
Shoes, I used to be wearing Skechers and Diesel casual shoes when it comes to Polos.
