Alright so I was shopping with my girlfriend and we saw some Cole Haan shoes on sale for like $60, regular price $160. I had never heard of them before. So I got them. My gf said I looked good in them.

They are so uncomfortable!!! And after wearing them around at work for a day, they cut my ankles up and they are bleeding!

WTF? Designer shoes my *****

Any solutions?

A lot of shoes need a break-in period before they fit your feet comfortably.

Different shoe styles are what make the difference on that problem. Not really the show designer itself. I have several pairs of Cole Haan's and love all of them. Some are the "drivers" style and super soft, flexible, etc. Some are heels. Haven't had a problem w/ any of them. There ARE some shoes, especially the ballet slipper style, that it does not matter what brand the back of the shoe tears up my ankle and gives me blisters. Have not found this exclusive to any one brand.

They are men's loafers.

I've got a bunch of different shoes, including loaders, and this is the only pair that has ever done this too my ankles...

I knew I should have stuck with Rockport

I like the shoes though, stylish.

My DH will only wear Rockport. Wouldn't care if they were on sale, I'd take them back and get your money

I don't consider Rockport too fashionable....

Never had a problem with Cole Haan, but they have lots of different styles. You may have bought your shoes too small or you need to break them in. Everyone has different feet!

How about a little mink oil on the interior of the ankle area?? Perhaps that would help break them in...isn't that what is used on baseball gloves?

I like Rockport, and have some Cole Hahn. Yes the CH were a bit stiffer, but if your bleeding you didnt get the right size. They may be out, but some Kenneth Cole shoes I have fit well.

Chances are that if you've never heard or worn shoes like Cole-Haan - you've never been properly fitted.
There is more to consider than size.
