I was watching the Rachael Ray show this morning and she had a plastic surgeon on. Here is an brief description from the show.....
"The cure for longer lashes? "Latisse is the only medically proven prescription-strength medication you can actually put on your eyelids," Dr. Youn says. "It's like eyeliner that will actually lengthen your eye lashes." It just received FDA approval, and is expected to cost $120 per month. The treatment is not permanent and is from the makers of Botox.
This product was originally given to patients who had I think had Cataract surgery and they discovered all the patients who used this on their eyelids had their lashes grow in longer and thicker.
He did say to use just a drop and apply like eyeliner and not to put it anywhere else or you'll grow hair
Hopefully it will come down in price and we'll all have long, thick, luscious eyelashes once again
