What I've seen (Vogue and Nylon) is an exaggerated shoulder or torso - not like what we were subjected to back in the 80's, not quite Bjork, but still something I could live without...
If I was old enough to rock the look the first time around, I don't participate in the second go-round.
I find this often saves me from looking like an over-the-hill streetwalker.
Yeah - that rule has kept me out of leggings. I don't care if the 30 year old model in Garnet Hill looks adorable...I'm over 40 and very unsure about it. At least with the 'Misses' approach, it's under dresses and with the right shoes...that's fine. When they (you know, THEM, conspirators of fashion) started showing leggings as pants, uncovered - which I DID as a size 1/2 back in the day, my brain said NO...please...don't encourage the masses. Ass crack is bad enough, don't need the TOE, too.

The thing is, in the 80's these looked good and no one felt they were subjected to anything. Same for those STUPID saggy pants bullsh*t! Those things look gross, wonder what those guys are gonna say when they hit 40-LOL!
I think I may buy the foam insert ones and put them in EVERYTHING double stacked just to drive people insane! LOL
There are some toned down ones that don't look so space age that are not so bad. I actually like the tailored down ones that just almost look like they are not there but its more than a shaped shoulder.
OMG, NO! If shoulder pads go back in style, can big hair be far behind?
If they do come back- well, I've been wearing my old ones in the front, so will just move them to my shoulders.
