I love this week's photo story by Bill Cunningham on the NY Times. This will inspire you to dress more creatively. Why not wear something colorful? How about red or yellow stockings? Pull something out of the back of your closet and think of a new way to where it!!!

Perfect ideas for transitioning from cool to warmer weather!

I loved it! I have been inspired of late much more by "street fashion" rather than simply what is in. I like the way he called it an alternitive happy look. I try to pull together a different look that is sort of signauture but does work. It is also amazing what is trip to the dry cleaners does for one. Not totally cheap but cheaper by far than buying every new fashion that comes down the road I have been evaluating less pants say and more color and tops, jackets etc. Thanks! Loved that piece!!! I feel happier already

Yay Bill!

Last week I added some textured stockings to my daily outfit.

This week I pledge to pull out some vintage colorful handbags, a Vera scarf or two and some Bakelite jewelry.

Aptor Hours -- I find that the more fashion blogs and things I look at, the more ideas I'm able to come up with. I also like shopping at the Salvation Army, because it allow me to take risks and be more creative. I dress better now than I ever have, and boy, what a feeling it is to walk around in a great outfit. It makes me feel confident, and I notice people looking at me.

Plaidmom -- I love textured stockings. I'm also wearing a lot more colored stockings. Hue makes a great stocking. I have red, mustard, and gray, and they are so much fun to wear! And of course, I LOVE Vera scarves. I have several and always have my eye out for more.
