Does anyone use Degree and does it work? I have always used Secret but I noticed Degree has some really good smelling deodorants that are new but before I spend the money wanted to see if anyone could recommend Degree.
It works well. I started using their "invisible solid" type variety in my quest for an antiperspirant that truly doesn't leave residue that builds up on clothes. I'm not a heavy sweater to begin with, but I've never had any problems with it.
have to agree with poster who claims mens works better then womens, i think it does to.
degree was always a fav of mine, but i swear all deodrants now days lowered their sweat fighting ingrediant, ive never had a problem before, but past few years, it seems none work well, i tried the ones that say they are prescription strenght, and personally, i swear its the "origional" deo, just hyped up like everythng else to make more money, cuz those do work, just like the regualr deo's used to.
trick i learned when using the higher strength ones, it says apply at night before bed, i used this technique on normal deo's, and it does work better for most part.
i save the prescription strength for the hot sticky weather, and normal for winter.
another trick ive tried is dust on powder before hand, any wil work, i like shower to shower sport scent, either before bed, or about a hour before you apply deo in morning, it doubles the asborbing power and odor control.
other then that, all the name brands seem to work the same, ive used them all and i go with the one that smells the best now.
I have no doubt in my mind that companies have lowered the potency of their original formulation in order to pimp out their "super strong, prescription-strength," i.e. old formulation, deodorant. Then they can legally say in marketing, "It's x times stronger than the regular formulation," because it's true, but only because, yeah, they weakened the regular. Cosmetic marketing.
