Because they bear a distinct resemblance to leggings, which are generally feminine attire, unless one is a professional dancer.
I don't think they look like leggings. As mentioned, there's a varying degree of tight for skinny jeans.
I don't see how it's feminine at all.
I think this is a case of an older generation & more conservative tastes clashing with younger, hipper style.
What do you people think about skinny or drainpipe jeans on guys? I have been sporting this look for years and often get strange looks (unless I'm in a bar full of indie snobs dressed the same way) Anyways.... Is it really that horrific? Thoughts??
Ugh, gross.
We have a few of those types in this area, and they are so pathetic looking, all emo and depressed and talking about cutting and crap.
Most of the guys here that sport that style are 16-22 (or so), and look and act like they live in Hot Topic.
Give me a man with a pair of work boots, normal jeans and a t shirt for day wear, night wear; nice jeans, black low dress boots and a "black label" style shirt.
Uhhhh. I dont own a single emo record (with the exception of Sunny Day Real Estate's "Diary")....for the record. By the way there are alot of different stereotypes of men that wear tight jeans. Country guys, Indie guys, Hipsters, retro metalheads, punk rockers...not just emo dudes.
Um, no.
There is a HUGE difference between a well fitting pair of Wranglers, Mick Jagger in leather pants, and a guy that wears Social Collision jeans for fun.
And let's be honest here, I have NEVER seen ANY cowboy wear a pair of jeans like this, lol. It's just not practical.
They look ridiculous. They make guys look like cartoon characters from an early 70's cartoon. That and the hair over the eyes. Not a good look for a man.
