What's the point of this thread, frankly?
I just dont want to look my age. I wish I could look younger. What makes me look so old? Is it the non existant lines and wrinkles? The lack of grey hair?

I dont see how I could look 30, and I certainly dont see how I look older than 30.

Why do people at work think I look so much younger? Why would they have to flatter me? Im not their boss!

ACTUALLY, MOST people think I am years younger. Its only people on this stupid thread that have being lying about me looking older

I work at a Smoothie Shop with people in their late teens/early 20s. Most of them thought I was in their class!

If y'all are jealous because I look so young- I realize I wont look younger forever. So I'm enjoying it while I can !!
Between cancer, disease, car wrecks, heart problems, and "acts of G-d", 30-35 IS middle age, since so many people are dying between 60-70.

You are middle age now (unless you live to be a very old age), EMBRACE IT!!!

No offense, but jealous of you is the LAST thing I am. That is just a hyper-defensive comeback on your part, to try and defend your thoughts to people that disagree.

I never said I looked 17!

I think I look about 25 or so. Is that so wrong?

Do you have a phobia about being 30 or what?
30 is the new 20.

I buy my clothes from the thrift store. I love vintage clothing.
That's pretty much what I thought when I saw the original pics.
You look retro.
That's your style; the hairdo went with it.
You do understand that when you have an alternative style, something outside the mainstream, not everybody is going to "get" it, correct?
So why are you posting pictures of yourself and then getting angry at mainstream people who don't get it?
They're saying that in their opinion, you'd look better with a more mainstream style.
Your style is mildly eccentric.
I think therein lies the conflict in this thread.

If you don't intend to change your style, then don't bother asking others what they think of it. You're dressing to please yourself, not others.

Just make your move and live your life.

So many people ARE NOT DYING between 60 and 70. What country do you live in?

My grandmother lived to be 97. My dad is 75 and he looks and acts about 50. He can play tennis and lift a piano!

No 30 is not middle aged. Not even by that.

Most people are living longer and longer anyway. 37 would middle aged, to be exact. Since the average lifespan is 75 years.

Sheesh, by your definition, teenagers mine as well be 45 !

BTW, the Dr said I have perfect health, even with my extra weight. I have low BP, etc. I am top physical shape. I can lift 100 lbs

First off, please STOP private messaging me about this, I know you don't like my opinion, but seriously?! C'mon now.... You want to be younger, you aren't. Accept it, and move on. If you think you look good, fine; but don't get all upset because others disagree with you.

Anyway, since you said it yourself 37 is middle age, you are ALMOST middle age then, how's that?

No, if you were in "TOP" physical shape, you wouldn't be overweight. You can life 100lbs?

GREAT, so can I, and I am 5'4" 125lbs (16% body fat), and a GIRL.
