I've been looking at the Slenderizer line of Land's End swimsuits and was wondering if any of you have tried them. Are they pretty much true to size? Do they deliver what they mean to deliver, as in does it actually make you look slender? Is the material of a good grade? I've never bought swimwear online but I tend to get one size smaller than what I am. Any opinions? Here's what I had in mind. My main problem area (not to say there are no others) is my tummy...all that C-section flab unfortunately is not going to get better.

I have bought Land's End slimming swimwear on line. The fabric is very good quality. I tend to buy a size up as I don't like it cutting into my thighs (my problem area.) They do have a good size chart and you can even do virtual try it on feature. Do they actually make you look slimmer? Well, I think they are better than most - but there are, unfortunately, no miracles Bummer, the season is upon us again, sigh!

I have bought 2 land's end swimsuits online, and they both ran really small for the size. But they weren't the slenderizer swimsuits, just the regular. The ones I ordered ran about 2 sizes too small, so I would consider ordering a size up; you might want to call before you order and see if the CSR has an opinion.

It's been awhile since I ordered one so I don't remember the sizing but I do remember the quality being good. I am very long waisted so their options worked well for me. It is easier now to find long swimsuits available....

If you have a Sears near you, they carry Lands End swimwear. It might be more convenient (no possible returns) if you try them on in the store. I haven't tried their swimsuits because I usually get It Figures suits, but most swimsuit manufacturers say to size up one size.

Yes, they do run very small which then makes one look heavier in my opinion. They ARE returnable so try one in a size or 2 larger then you usually are and see. The quality is excellent.

Thanks all! They are indeed returnable both by mail and at Sears. My only concern about going to Sears directly is that they may not have the particular model and color I want. I'll at least order my size and if that doesn't work, then I'll return it to Sears. I appreciate all the feedback ladies!

I cannot remember how the size went, but Lands End carries very good quality clothing. My swimsuit was purchased about 10 years ago and is still going strong.

I haven't ordered from the slimming line, but last year the two piece I ordered was true to size and great quality.

All of the Lands End swimsuits I have tried have not had enough spandex in them and they dont support or hold you in - if you have a fantastic body with no fat - then I would buy them - otherwise they stink
