That is my question...

I don't know about all their products but back when I wore makeup I wore their glazewear lip glosses and they were great! Very moisturizing, went on easily, came in a variety of nice colors, and best of all it didn't have that nasty chemical smell that so many glosses have. Their blushes are good too, very pretty colors with good lasting power. My mom currently uses their ANEW lifting cream and eye creams and she likes those. I tried a couple of their eyeshadows once and they weren't very pigmented, imo, but it might have just been those particular colors. Overall, I'd say they are a good brand. In my opinion their best products are their lip products and blushes. Hope this helps.

I didn't buy Avon for years but recently bought several items and they were all great.

I don't care much for Avon products, but this could be because I'm more into immediate gratification.
If I purchase something, I want it now. Right now.

Avon is for those who can tolerate delayed gratification.

I order Avon all the time and I am almost always happy with what I have purchased. I recommend their shower gels and bubble baths. I've bought their lipstick for ages and have received lots of compliments on it, but to be honest it does dry my lips out. That particular product is called Color Rich.

Yes! Avon products are great. As with any beauty product manufacturer, you'll like some of their items better than others. With Avon, there's also the 100% satisfaction guarantee so you can return the product for full refund if unhappy with it; I like that. And you can also use Avon's Skin So Soft bath oil your horse as a bug repellant!

Yes, IMO, they are very good. I have used various AVON products for at least 15 years now. I really enjoy them and they are always coming out with new stuff. I have oily skin, and their oil-free line works great, and their lip glosses and nail polishes are great. Give them a try, I think you will like them. You can always order online if you don't feel like setting up a meeting with a live consultant.
Good luck!

I just recently bought some Avon products, and I am liking them. But I'll agree that they take WAY to long to deliver - over 2 weeks.

I have a couple of friends who are trying to convince me to buy from them. I'm a big follower of Dior, LancĂ´me and Biotherm, so I'm critical. But all of your responses were so positive, so I might as well try some products then!

Hello gals...and guys?

I just happened to see these postings regarding Avon and wanted to let you know (directing specifically to "JANE72") that I just signed up as a rep again -- after a five-year hiatus -- because I missed their products and loved them! I have a website now, and if you order online, it only takes a few days...if you don't wait to wait a couple of weeks. I know my daughter actually ordered online from my site and her order came quickly. Also, it's not just for women anymore! ;-) Lots of household, clothing, children's things, men's items--including cologne (Mmmm...Patrick Demsey is a spokesman, along with Derek Jeter). If interested, check out my site at: www.youravon.com/gdirlam
THANKS..and have a great day, everyone!
