The gal in that photo with the purple top is not what I'd call a plus size. Shelly Winters is a plus size... Roseanne Bar is a plus size, but that photo ain't, LOL!
Calling that photo "plus" is a bit like calling Jennifer Lopez a "plus" size. She may be a little curvier than the standard stick figure model, but in all the right places.
its a freaking store dummy, for crying out loud!
The garment itself does not look well constructed...... extra fabric for a diva size is never a good thing, and the fabric used for that kind of drape guarantees thats its synthetic....ewwwwwww!
Find a pic of the garment on a plus-sized woman, then ask the question. You can't show a pic of something that is obviously on a petite size mannequin, and ask if it looks good for a plus size woman. If it's a yes or no question, with only that pic to go by, my answer would have to be no. It's not something that I think would be flattering to anyone that is "plus sized".
It'd look great on a skinny girl, but I can't see it making a larger girl look anything other than flabby/pregnant. I'm a size 6 and I'd look like a cow in that. There are much better picks for plus size.
