How about this question. Why are most women repulsed by the idea of a man wearing shorts that are less than knee-length?

Good question. I think it's pretty weird.

People on here talk about what people should wear as if it were some concrete rule with a logical reason behind it, rather than just a fashion that changes over time.

Not long ago, men routinely wore shorts that ended above the knee, and nobody was bothered by it. I think it's pretty strange that anybody would think there's something actually wrong with a man exposing, say, 1/3 of the top half of his leg. And heaven forbid if he has hair on his legs. Who can imagine that?

As I said, there are some REALLY weird comments in this thread.

It seems strange to make a blanket statement that men look awkward in short pants, period. Maybe certain types of shorts, maybe shorts that are too tight, but any shorts at all?
