I think shorts can be fine for casual, especially if the guy has nice legs. Like I said in another thread, they can't be too short, too long, too tight or too baggy. Fit and style is really important or it can just be juvenile or vulgar.

It's not about age. As orangeapple said, too many things can be wrong with them.

I wonder if this is an age thing. Older women dislike shorts but younger women like them?

But I thought women were into "bad boys" and not nice guys?

It's just that most men can't pick the right shorts for themselves. Could be also that younger women have less sophisticated tastes, too.

Growing up in California, shorts are a part of the casual, beach culture, so I am okay with them, but I agree that the style can often be abused.

Well its like this, when men wear tight jeans and they have a nice body, we get to picture the nice frame. But shorts are often saggy and long. They serve no purpose in a come-hither way. They just are not described as "sexy". Some are nice, but it doesnt do anything for them is the sexy department. Tight jeans do a better job. IMO.

I get a lot of wolf whistling when I put on my camouflage shorts.

It depends on what the guy looks like. A great body is the finest accessory/fashion statement you can have.
