Not a guy but do all of us women who do love guys a favor. When y'all wear shorts, make sure they are NOT PLAID, and NOT to your knee and above all else, lose the black socks with sandals look.
Reality is this...not too many guys have good legs. Sorry, you are either all hair or all bony, knobby knees complimented by hair. My son...,and I am not prejudiced on this one..has great legs and can wear anything but basketball shorts. His legs are not all that long but they are shaped perfectly and he does not have knobby knees or hairy legs at age 40. My hubs on the other hand, looks like Yogi Bear with his hairy legs. Although shaped nicely, he has heavy thighs, slim calves but ugh..,the hair is everywhere, LOL.
So, if I had my choice, it would be guys in cotton shorts cuz the basketball shorts are always too big and the denim shorts end up being fastened UNDER the guys bellies. Fun post!
I don't like them... still consider shorts to be kids' play clothes... unless the person is playing a sport or dong some kind of outside activity...
what I really dislike, though, are "shorts" that are long enough to make only an inch or two between the top of a sock and the bottom of the short- popular amongst older guys here... I guess it's my practical nature showing- they can't possibly keep a person cool, & they don't look good, so what's the purpose of them?

Oh I totally disagree. I absolutely love madras shorts. Always have. I think they look great on both men AND women (those that have decent legs of course!! )
