She probably thought she looked sexy.

I think that if you want to show some skin, that's fine. But be careful with just how much you show. If I wear a midriff top, for example, I usually wear jeans because I feel that a short skirt or shorts would be a little too much. Plus, even though I don't hate my legs, I'm not as proud of them as I am of my abs, so I'm really not tempted to put on a short skirt very often. Also, for me personally, the situation I'm in will dictate how much skin to show. If I'm in the grocery store, for instance, I'll usually dress in a t-shirt and jeans/track pants, but if I'm going out with friends, I'll show more skin and, depending on the type of place it is, I'll wear the appropriate clothing (i.e. I won't wear a midriff wife beater to a classy martini bar; I'll wear a more dressy white button-down shirt and tie it in the front an inch or two above my navel while wearing either dressy pants or nice jeans).

But I think it's important to remember that if you're overweight and susceptible to muffin tops, you probably should be covering up more.

Guess people can`t help what is out there on the shelves to buy for clothing, but they really do need to think about where they chose to wear this stuff, and to the grocery store, or even out in public, is not one of them. (shrugs)

I'm not religious myself, but a place of worship is the last place on earth I'd expect to see anything even remotely sluttly.

I attend a megachurch where lot's of women dress like this. It makes perfect sense. God created female beauty, it should be celebrated. Why did we as a culture decide skin is bad? It's not.

Also, Christianity and Western culture in general has done much to advance the freedom of women, including freedom of dress.
