In Germany it's alike a pest that all people have Jack Wolfskin rucksacks or clothes.

I don't even carry a purse! So I've saved LOTS of $$$ in my lifetime! (And yes, I'm a gal!)

I've made my purse from a piece of fabric. Well, I like sewing.

Well, I'm a little tired of them, and yes, I live in Dallas. Of course, if someone gave me a nice one, I'd carry it! How lame is that!

It's not just Coach. I'm sick of all the LOGO bags. They're tacky, no matter who makes them or how much they cost. I do like a good all-leather Coach bag, because I think they're good quality.

But it's like everything else that goes in cycles. There'll be some other "it" bag that costs a bunch and is carried by celebrities, everyone flocks to their local mall to buy it, somebody starts a thread here complaining about how "middle class" it is, lather, rinse, repeat. It's the retail version of the Circle of Life.

That's why I think trying to stay on top of fashion and trends is a waste of time. It's a never-ending chase, and the only people benefitting are the profiteers who make you think you just have to have it. Meh.

The only thing worse than a Coach bag is a knock off Coach bag.

Coach used to be my absolute favorite, but over the last 5 years or so, I don't like their new styles. All the buckles, tassels, "C" logos, etc. just too much! I liked their simpler designs. and I especially don't like the cloth bags, only the smooth leather ones.

I really like the bags from Furla, Hogan, or Tods.

Is it just me or is every middle class person from the ages of 16 - 99 carrying a coach purse?

it might be just a Dallas thing, which wouldn't surprise me.

I've been wearing coach purses for about 15 years.

Even my chubby english bulldog wears a fuschia coach collar, and my little boston terrier mix wears a more masculine coach collar...

I have thought before....why spend $500-800 on a purse! I went and bought one for $80, I think it was Nine West, and it broke within a few months. So I would rather spend the money on a quality all leather bag that lasts for years and years and I dont have to worry about. Oh and same goes for the dog collars

I have had my fair share of COACH purses over the years. I remember I purchased my first leather 'bucket' purse (it was tan) in 1988.

The recent epidemic of 16 year olds, in every ghetto, in every city, wearing them, has caused me not to want to wear mine anymore. I have a few leather ones that I still wear to work, every now and then...and I have a few signature "C" purses, that I bought when Coach first introduced them back in the late 90's/early 2000's, but like I said, I have no desire to wear them after witnessing the demographic COACH seems to cater to nowadays. I let my 16 year old wear all my old signature COACH stuff now, since it seems to be all 'they' like to wear.

I agree with the above (logo bags). I despise LV the most. How on earth does anything think LV LV LV LV LV all over their goods is attractive? Old school Coach was simple, classy, and very well made. New school Coach is awful. Thankfully my wife agrees!
