If an Avon rep. offered a free color analysis (wardrobe plus makeup) with a $75. purchase, would you be more inclined to make the purchase?

Probably not. Any makeup rep can help you with color, and most people know what wardrobe colors look good on them. Now if the rep was a stylist who could help with the types of clothes that would look good and could design a full wardrobe, then probably yes.

Not for $75.00, that's a bit steep. Maybe $50.00. I had a color analysis done years ago. ( if you're referring to the winter, spring, summer, fall concept )

Nah. I know what colors go well with my skin, and which ones make me look like the undead. Plus, there are products I like a lot more than Avon.

Add me to the list of "no". I don't think I have spent $75 on Avon in the last 20 years.

Same here - never used Avon products. If I want cosmetics (or anything pretty much) - I'll run to the store, purchase it and have it right then. Having a "free" color consultation isn't really offering much. I can go to most makeup counters in a dept. store and get a free makeover at any time without a purchase requirement so I'm not seeing how that is a huge incentive? If you are talking about the "seasons" (warm, cold, summer, fall winter) thing - do people still do that? I thought that was an 80's thing?

Only if I were going to buy that much anyway.

Usually that custom color crap, is just that, crap!

I know what colors look good on me, and they usually try and give me colors that DO NOT go with my skin tone or natural color.

I do like Avon makeup, their liners are good, lip glosses and sticks are good, and they have a few perfumes I love.
