I have very nice long thick eyelashes. The only problem with them is that they're so blond that they almost disappear.

I am having a heck of a time finding a mascara that only colors lashes, and doesn't do any of that "volumizing, maximizing, thickening, lengthing" baloney. I hate that clumpy crap on my eyelashes, and they certainly don't need any fake bulking added to them.

Does anyone know of a brand of mascara that doesn't do anything but put color on the lashes?

Those newish ones that look like combs don't seem to do anything else but coloring.

The old school glossy Clinique mascara. You can buy it Sephora or most department stores.

I have thin, barely visible lashes, and swear by good 'ol Maybelline Great Lash waterproof mascara. I actually look like I have eyelashes, and it NEVER smudges! I have never used anything else.

Try clear mascara. You can tint the tube with whatever color mineral eyeshadow.

Have you tried having your eyelashes tinted? The tint will go right up to the root of the lash and give good definition to the eyes. My daughter has very fair lashes and eyebrows so has them both tinted. You should have an allergy test done first though.

I've been using CG Exact Eyelights lately, Black Gold for hazel eyes, but there are different shades that are meant to complement different eye colors. It doesn't have the thickening or lengthening properties that others do, but I like it as a lighter daytime mascara because it doesn't have those properties. It's worth a shot!

I have some L'Oreal Bare Naturels mascara and as I recall, it really only colored my lashes. It was really good for going "natural".
