Pink, to me, screams loud, pretentious, and probably obnoxious.
What shade of pink are you guys talking about? I don't think a pink dress shirt is any brighter or more obnoxious than a blue or yellow one.

That's my thought as well. I will wear pink shirts and ties all day long. Pink pants or a pink jacket would be a no no. People always compliment me when I wear pink but I never saw it as a big deal. It's no different than yellow or lime green in my opinion.

If I wear some clothes I've dyed orange with certain other clothes, they have more of a pink look than an orange one. So I don't really wear them much at all.

I keep away from colors that get a lot of attention. It is just my personality, although I do like/want some crazy colored gym shoes that are neon yellow, orange, or sky blue.

I think I have two items of pink clothing. One a shirt I relegated to wearing recently when painting a room in my house and got paint all over it. That tells you what I think about myself wearing pink clothing.......

Only salmon or a pastel. Regular pink looks ridiculous on black men.
