If I'm lounging around the house, Carmex is all I need. I'm not particularly interested in impressing myself, lol.

Thankfully, I've never experienced acne or anything, but I started using foundation after an accident I had in the winter (gotta love ice) left me with some bruising and a scar on my forehead. I eventually fell in love with Bare Minerals, and still use it to make my skin look more even. So for my everyday face, I use their foundation, some gloss, and mascara.

I'll use blush or bronzer when my skin's lacking color. If I use eyeshadow, it's typically neutral tones. I'd only go for something more colorful if I was going out. And some days I line my eyes, some days I don't. Depends on how I feel.

Same here. I use most of the products (no powder) but I don't think I wear a lot of make-up because I do use most of it pretty sparingly. ( Quite a bit of mascara, though, cuz lashes are sparse.)

Do you know if it's good for combo or oily skin? I have weird skin and most moisturizers make me break out but no moisturizer and I have dry patches near my nose and chin and forehead. We are moving to Colorado in a year or two and I don't know WHAT will happen, if I already have dryness issues in the steamroom that is my city! I have found some cheaper stuff that is non-clogging with a sunblock in it but it stinks, to me. I think it's Clean & Clear, I bought it while in Colorado after the first day... it just smells odd. Don't like it.
Try oil cleansing instead of face wash too. It can really help with that.

I have very good skin but still like to enhance it with a touch of base. I much prefer a dewy look. Never was much for powder; in fact, I use it only on my eye-lids for mascara (thicken). Always wear eye-makeup, although it varies. Blush and definitely the lipstick.

Wear make-up to work, and if I go to the store I usually wear a light touch of mascara and a little lip color. At home it is not unusual for me to grab an old lipstick from the bathroom drawer and add some color.

I tend to wear full make up ( foundation, loose powder, a bit of blush , mascara, eyeliner and lip gloss ) when I go out but always in muted colours as I prefer an understated look and I like to look natural. it only takes me less than 5 minutes to put it on so not exactly an exacting routine...

I retired this past May after 36 years of teaching. For every school day and/or function I wore make-up. Not now. I love not having to put that stuff on my face! I only wear make-up now if I'm going somewhere nice. I don't wear it when I run errands or when I go someplace casual. I feel fine without it, and really wish I didn't feel the need to wear it certain places, but I still do.

I'm 47 and I wear foundation to even out my skin tone, eyeliner, mascara, blush and lipstick, most days. My lashes are pale and I look blah without mascara. I just cut my hair really short and sometimes I wear eye shadow to look a bit girlier.

Aboout moisturizers, Neutragena has an SPF 45 non-oily facial moisturizer that I really like and it doesn't cost very much.

For everyday wear--Nothing, except an occasional lip balm since my lip gets chapped easily

For occasion-- foundation, mascara, eyeshadow and lip gloss

for everyday wear, just lip gloss and face moisturizer with spf. occasionally some mascara. i recently went natural, and am trying to find beauty products based around that. i might try the bare minerals for those days i want a more polished look.

a couple posters have talked about moisturizers. OLAY daily face moisturizer with SPF has worked wonders for me. not natural ingredients BUT great coverage and goes on w/o being greasy and definitely reasonable priced compared to other moisturizers. you can get it at most pharmacy aisles at big supermarkets, and places like cvs, target, etc. highly recommend it.

I go all out.

My daytime makeup looks fairly natural, but if I'm dressing up/attending a function, I'll wear a heavier coverage foundation and do more dramatic eyes.
