I have to wear boot cut. It is hard to get my huge New Rock gothic boots into the skinny pants.

I think the boot cut jeans allude more towards the baggy thigh/hip area..
All the bootcuts I remember were snug in the thigh, and slightly flared starting at the knee.

The baggy in the thigh jeans were generally "Relaxed fit" with a straight or wide leg.

I say flaunt what you got.
I love jeggings.

LOL! I am with you. I have retired the bootcuts for skinnies and jeggings.

Skinnies and jeggings here as well. If you have the figure for it, they look great

I think it's pretty obvious that different styles look better on different people. Some people look good in a boot cut jean -and after all, it's a classic cut that's stood the test of time.

I have jeans of all sorts of styles and cuts - straight, loose, cargo, jeggings, and bootcut . Some of my jackets and boots look better with a bootcut jean, and some of them don't. I'm not a slave to fashion trends, and I'm not so insecure that I will forego what simply looks best just because I'm worried about some self appointed fashion Nazi getting her jollies ridiculing my personal clothing choices.

Get a life, honey!

I may be wrong here, but aren't bootcut jeans the most original/classic cut??

I have a decent selection of skinny/pencil cut denim, but I'm having a darn hard time finding boot cuts that are long enough and without too much of a flare. Straight legs have been difficult to find too. They seem to border on the pencil/cigarette cut more so than straight leg.

I have a box with 5 pairs of jeans along side of me that I need to ship back. Next shipment is due tomorrow. Fingers are crossed!
