I have been very happily using Arbonne RE9 for skin care and I have been very pleased. I have been having some health issues lately and am now on some vitamins and medications that have left me with sensitive skin.
Does anyone have recommendations for quality, tried and true skin care products? I am in my early 40's.
I just wrote a post about skin care on a thread on this board, "need skin care update" etc. I would copy it but some of the recommendations may not fit. HTH.
Most women as they get older have sensitive skin issues. I use a combination of Mary Kay, Dr. Denese, and Philosophy. Depends on how my skin is reacting at the timel I would contact a Mary Kay rep and try out some of the products. All of these are easily returned, but with MK, you can try it at home with someone who can help you right there. Personally, I would try to get a rep who was experienced and who probably has clients who also have sensitive skin.
My dermatologist recommends Cetaphil for all ages. It's very pure. The mosturizer is my favorite I've ever used. The cleanser is also wonderful and they have a spf moisturizer for day as well.
Other great cleansers for sensative skin, Neutragena Extra Gentle Cream Cleanser, Dove Soap, unscented Pond's Cold Cream.

I have very sensitive skin also. Lately, almost anything gives me a burning sensation. I use the usual drugstore stuff most of the time, but if I need to soothe my skin I use virgin coconut oil. It is solid up to about 76 degrees and melts immediately when it touches your skin. You can use it all over your body, it is naturally antibacterial and smells like a day at the beach. Buy it at the grocery or natural foods store.
