I love to wear pantyhose sometimes. I've kinda lost that novelty thrill so to speak since I've been able to wear them but still do quite often. Now there just another part of the wardrobe for the most part.
I'm transgendered and have been female for about 2 years now and have always wanted to wear pantyhose. I must say I was very delighted with the way they felt the first time I slipped them on as a female. I told myself then I was gonna wear them everyday but that hasn't happened. lol
They can be a pain in the ass sometimes. Every time you go potty you have to pull them back up, you can run them with your nails if you're not careful, they fall on you if you walk a lot, etc.
I guess I still wear more than most girls though. I'll slip into a pair of pantyhose maybe twice a week.
I swore after four years of a performance ensemble where nude pantyhose and black ballet flats were required parts of performance apparel that I would never wear them again. I've gone back on the ballet flats, but not the hose.

Gotcha.
Again, I've discovered they can be a hassle sometimes but I like to try and dress pretty when I can, which lately has been maybe a couple of times a week. They do have a way of making me feel more soft and feminine though.
I just wish they'd make a pair that didn't fall on you. That's my biggest problem with them. You can't do a whole lotta walking without worrying about that crap.
The worst is putting a run in them when somewhere out in public, especially when there's no where close to buy another pair. It's pretty embarrassing.
As mentioned, I'm not near as hip on them as I thought I'd be when I was pre-op.
I don't know why the trend has been to move away from wearing pantyhose/nylons. Really; I just don't get it... They absolutely make a woman's legs look so sexy and soft as well as making her legs feel incredibly silky. In my opinion, there aren't many woman who can really "pull off" the bare leg look anyway. Yes; I've definitely seen those who can, but I must say it's a fairly rare event!
I'm female, and prefer tights (for comfort). My legs look great in pantyhose, but I'm all for comfort.
