I had it done in Europe... not sure about the costs here.

Seven years is the average, sometimes it lasts longer, sometimes not as long. I doubt that you can judge its soundness by how it looks to you. I'm not saying bonding is a bad idea, I have plenty of bonding myself. But it is not the most long-lasting solution which is a down side. One day it looks fine, the next day a big chunk breaks off and you have to go get it fixed. More durable materials last longer, but bonding's greater economy may well balance that out in many cases.

Matter of fact, I just had tooth bonding done yesterday on my two front teeth because I had a gap. I HIGHLY suggest it. It will look amazing!

You could do what I did -- get hit in the mouth with a golf ball. Afterward, my mom said: "Well, you always wanted to do soemthing about that gap."

Yeah....I summersalted off my bike while playing chicken in 7th grade; saved one front tooth by a huge wad of big mouth bubble gum but had the other break in half. I had a gap that was closed with the repair of the tooth as well.

I would investigate your options carefully.

This should absolutely be your first step. Did you have a tooth pulled? Your teeth may be adjusting to correct the bite.

I guess how good your bonding is depends upon how good your dentist is.

I've had the same bonding for over 20 years. It looks perfect, but then I take very good care of my teeth. A new hygienist couldn't even tell at first check that I had bonding.

It's not terribly expensive. It's very well worth it, and it does not harm your teeth the way veneers do.

You will be very pleased with the results!

Can't leave a message on your profile, but I love your pic! PS: If I looked as good as Depp's wife, I wouldn't care...
