I'm not really a fashionista, so I ask this question to see what others think. Am I the only person who finds tucking shirts into jeans ridiculous?

Thoughts? Especially from the ladies.

Of course not. Why would it be silly? Button-up shirts look very nice tucked in, no matter what they are worn with.

These are not jeans, but no matter. Tucked in looks great.

The GAP has highlighted their latest collection with all "tucked in" photos.

Chessie mom- I was thinking in terms of men tucking their shirts into their jeans. It looks fine on females.

I don't know, I liked them tucked in on guys too. Much more polished and GQ. The GAP has many of their guys in tuck-ins too, so it's definitely not a "silly" look at all. My son, at 16, tucks in the front, and lets the back hang over the belt. And believe me, HE is the fashion leader around here.

I see nothing "silly" about it!

It depends on the shirt. Some are made to be tucked in, others are made to be worn out. I hate, hate, hate when men wear a style of shirt that is designed to be tucked in, out- it looks sloppy and awful!

I've never looked at a guy and thought "That tucked-in shirt looks horrendous!" BUT I have been out to finer restaurants & lounges and thought "That guy looks like a slob with his button-down untucked." Maybe I'm just getting old.

Button down shirts do look a lot better tucked in (in like boot cut jeans too or a great pair of slacks).

I prefer a man who does tuck in this shirt when he wears jeans and a button down shirt. It's more handsomer (if there is a word...HEHEEHE!!).
