My boyfriend and I just moved to Meridian MS a couple of months ago. He works while I go to school. Money is not that good but at the same time it is not the best. We really dont go out that much due to the money. But when we do go out we try to go with the cheap things. Is there anyone from Meridian that would know where we can get good deals on cheap but styleish clothes?

You might want to try Plato's Closet. Not sure if there is one in your area, but Alabama and Louisiana both have stores.

I've been very lucky with shopping at thrift stores. Also check out church rummage sales in upscale neighborhoods. I've also done very well shopping for used designer clothes on eBay.

You can often find really nice clothes at consignment resale shops. Good luck shopping.

For women, Catos has fashionable clothing and not really expensive. I don't live in Mississippi, but when I vacationed in South Carolina and Georgia I saw a lot of them. I agree with Ross's. Also, maybe a TJ Max store if there is one nearby.

Besides the obvious like Marshalls, TJ Maxx, Stein Mart, etc...

Lately the big dept stores have been having crazy sales! I have purchased $80 Michael Kors dresses for $15 at Macys! I dont shop there too often (they often dont carry my size) but my husband has found similar great deals in the mens section.
