I've always worn tennis shoes and boots with my shorts. My girlfriend has tried to convince me to wear flip flops but I wouldn't wear them. She bought me a pair of sport sandals for an upcoming trip we're taking but I cannot bring myself to wear them either. But I found these shoes online which are a half shoe/half sandal:
They are breathable but also do not expose the toes so it might be a good compromise since she wants me in sandals and I've always worn regular shoes.
Just wondering what you all think. Would they look good with cargo shorts or too dorky?
I have gray Keens, similar in style...call 'em my sweatshirt shoe. Husband owns several pairs. I won't say they are the most attractive shoes, but the comfort and functionality call for a 5-star rating. I wear mine when I don't care if it's fashionable, with hoodies, tees and long jersey skirts or cargo shorts...a time and place for everything.
Not a jeans shoe.
Actually, I'm grateful that my SO doesn't wear sandals. If there was one, he would be a shoo-in for the ugliest feet award. He usually wears boat shoes when wearing shorts. But for men who don't have his problem, the ones you posted aren't bad, but I like the ones that B4U posted.
Sporty looking--if you're the athletic type you can pull this look off. Are those "elf toes" really comfortable? Always go for comfort. Tip: when you try shoes on in the store--walk on the hard floor, too.
I don't think your legs are skinny. Neither are your arms. But what's with the face?
You DO need some sun! LOL!
