I like to replace them every 3-6 months because of cup size and staying strong in the support.
Right now I have 32s and they slide around. I really should have a 28-30 by measurements. My frame is super small. (wrist 5.25 @5'6''ish and some)
I only replace mine when I am dating. So every five or six years and I'm at the mall.
But seriously, how can you order bras online? Even among the same brands, it takes me forever to find one that fits right and then I buy three- white, nude and black.
I always go for full coverage. I think they are easier to deal with than others. I know what you mean though. I wear a cup size up if I am dealing with a different cut of the same maker.
I have been wearing BBV for years now. But they only go to 32.
I am trying to put wt on around the ribs but I think its not gonna happen without doing the gym/real wts type deal...blah

I order a whole bunch of them (usually 20 at a time), 3 different sizes of each bra and return what doesn't fit. Unfortunately, that's my only option because I can't just go bra shopping anywhere. I used to have to order them from the UK. It's only been the last couple of years where US websites have started offering my size.
A bra fitter at a top department store once told me that "the average life of a bra is 3 months". This would be with hand washing and air drying. If you wear two, alternating, wouldn't that extend it to 6 months?
