Yeah I dunno about legs...I suppose that could go either way, but personally I'm against it and have never touched mine. It's pretty much a standard practice for guys to shave body hair nowadays, so in the very least it's a must to trim chest hair if not shaving it entirely and shaving your back and shoulders is about as regular as shaving your face. Personally, I don't really mind it since it's not exactly a personal goal of mine to resemble a yeti.
If you look like Sasquatch, trim. No need to shave. In fact, don't shave, because if your hair is that plentiful and thick, you're going to have stubble very quickly, and that will probably drive you up a wall when you wear pants, never mind that it looks bad.
But I'm talking extreme, here. If you just have regular man legs, leave them alone. I don't know any woman who cares.
To those who talk about shaving chest hair: Ick, ick, ick, ick, ick. A smooth chest may look okay, but there is an evolutionary purpose for chest hair. Think missionary position and boobs and you'll figure it out. Likewise, you'll figure it out when a woman says, "OW! That's like sandpaper!"
My best friend waxes her dh's back. I've never seen it with hair, but I guess it's too much for him. My brother used to do his chest and arms. He was a body builder and he wasn't gay.
