Filthy?! If your skin is clean, so is your hair...
There is a lot more bugs and filth between he hair on one's head, still most people don't shave that off.

your kidding? right?????

hair has been a part of "man" since the beginning of time.

Hair has been a part of being a woman since the beginning of time but women are for some reason expected to shave their armpits, legs, these days their pubic hair too and heaven forbid if they get a little chin hair or moustache after menopause. Why should men be given special treatment and be exempt from shaving? Its bad enough men think they are exempt from personal hygiene and the vast majority smell like B.O.

There are races of people that are bodyhairless such as East Asians and some Native American tribes so don't make it look like every man is hairy as a dog. Almost all of the hardcore bodybuilders I've ever known shave themselves because they know it looks better especially when they have big muscles. There's nothing more disgusting then a big bush of hair peeking out of the top of a tank top or fur peeking out of the top of socks.

I trim my leg hair every so often...usually just in the summer. Just get one of those trimmers for beard and you can it for your legs. It takes about 15 minutes and I do it every 3 weeks or so. Though if you are insanely hairy, maybe once a week.
