Does anyone know about thermage? Is it safe? Does it work?
How long does it last? (I put this thread one the wrong forum and
didn't get any info--hope somebody out there knows something...)
Are there other non-evasive cosmetic procedures to slow the age
process--that are good and worth the $$$$?
I had Thermage in August. It was somewhat painful, but not overly so. It is now November, and while others say they notice that my face looks firmer, I do not notice that big of a difference, if any, really. I know that it can take up to 6 months, however, for the real difference to kick in, so I will wait a bit longer before I call it a disappointment.
Do you mind giving your age and some details?
Did you want to firm your jawline?
Was it painful during the procedure, after, or both?
How did your face look afterwards?
How long did it take for your face to be normal again?
Please keep in touch.
I am almost 45. I am a non-smoker, however I have a lot of sun damage. In addition, I am pretty vain, so I react to aging perhaps more than the average person.
Did you want to firm your jawline?
Absolutely - and anything else that would tighten up!
Was it painful during the procedure, after, or both?
I did not find it painful, per se, however it is not super comfortable either. It is a tolerable amount of pain, and if you need to, they can dial back the strength.
How did your face look afterwards?
To me, it looked exactly as it did before. No swelling, no redness, no peeling. Nothing.
How long did it take for your face to be normal again?
It was fine immediately.
