A line of children's clothing called Ooh! La La Couture promoted by a young Disney star has come under fire for being too adult, and has even been likened to adult lingerie by some critics.
The Emily Grace Collection is named after 8-year-old "Hannah Montana" star Emily Grace Reaves, who helps design the line.
Looks like tanktops and poofy, laced skirts to me.
I'd definitely let my daughter wear something like that for dress up around the house... outside the house, not-so-much. She loves wearing dresses, kiddie heels (or mine if I'm not careful), a boa, and big sunglasses.
The only resemblance I see to the lingerie piece is that they're both leopard print. Beyond that, it's just a poofy skirt. ((My only question is: What type of petticoat is she wearing *or is sewn in* to make it poof so nicely??))
This is also less "racy" than what you'd see on that Toddlers & Tiaras show.
I agree with Rita. The two outfits resemble one another because they are leopard print with black trim. If it were, say, aqua with yellow ruffles, it would just be another foufy princessy dress. I don't care for it, but I don't think it's particularly adult-looking. It's not even that short.
