Does it look orange or natural? Is it even or splotchy? How does it look on people who start with pretty pale skin?

I've gotten them and they looked good on me, IMO. I am very pale w/ blonde hair and light green eyes.

It did not look splotchy, but make sure you go right after you are freshly showered and don't use any lotions or makeup, or it might.

I think on different skin tones it looks different. I'm near white w/ a touch of pink in my skin and it looked good

Okay that's good to hear. I am a redhead and I'm pretty white and looking for something to give me a natural looking tan once summer comes around so I'll at least give it a try. I forgot to ask how long does it last?

Well it depends on how often you shower. I'd say 3 or 4 days, a week tops. I just make sure don't really scrub the first few showers after, just soap up and rinse off and pat dry. I usually use one of those puffy scrubby things, but not right after a fake tan. LOL.

My DIL got it done and it looked good and she liked it. She had to let it set overnight before showering and she said you get that funky smell the same as after you got to a tanning bed or use the self tanning lotions. She's a fair skinned blond.

Yeah don't shower till the next day, but since you should shower immediately b4 that shouldn't be a problem.

There's a tanning salon nearby that has Mystic Tan and they want $25 for one session! Is that overpriced?

I got one once, and it looked great. I have pale, sort of freckly skin, and they used a very light color so it looked natural. It was nice to see tan where no sun EVER goes--my husband liked it too. I did have white patches on my inner elbows, so if you do the kind where you stand in the booth and get spray all over, make sure you don't bend your arms.

I think mine was a Mystic tan and cost $20 or $25.

I want to try it this spring/summer. I keep saying this will be my last year of tanning, but I can't help but want that color.

I looked great for about 3 days and then it started coming off and I looked like I had a skin disease. I was moisturizing my body like crazy but it did not help. It came off on the neck first and left weird white patches. Not nice
