I was amused by the painted toenails (mostly green and blue) of river guides when I went whitewater rafting last summer. They explained it protects their toes...
I like posts like this, that open up the world, to people who live in such a small one...
Men aren't supposed to paint their nails. Ones who do so either suffer from a psychological problem, is a weirdo, a pervert or think they're a woman and maybe all of the above.

This is your opinion and not proven fact. I dont paint my nails but if i saw a guy with painted nails i wouldnt scream accusations of him being a pervert or pedophile. I dont know of any mental institutions that commit men for painting their nails.

It never ceases to amaze me how 'small' some people are on the inside...
I guess all these male cross dressers walking down the street should all be rounded up as well...

Does that make them equivalently as 'perverted' as that one poster implied males were who paint their nails at home, to include rock stars, and metalica and Motley crue or even Kiss?
Sandusky, the assistant coach at Penn State...did he paint his nails?
How about all the priests, who did bad things behind the scenes...did they paint their nails?
Or Ted Bundy...did he paint his nails?
Or any seriel killer...has any serial killer ever had painted nails?
Are all the prisons in America filled with guys who paint their nails?

So to make that connection is very irresponsible and not in the slightest bit fair...or reasonable...
Infact one could very well imply that those males who don't paint their toe nails, are more likely to be a menace to society...statistically speaking...there's no arguement there...

perhaps its hot outside? perhaps thats the only styles in stores currently? maybe they were a gift? Why does it matter?
